We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to send emails.

Unless I send every email manually, we need an email service provider like Brevo. We also use it for things like password reset emails. One downside is that they sometimes wrap links in their own URLs so we they can display open and click rates.

I’m not a fan of that either, so I’ll look into whether we can disable link redirection and use plain links instead.

Using an email service is basically required for reliable delivery, but if there’s an option to turn off link tracking, I’ll absolutely do that.
