Admin Password setting

Just set this up. seems quite capable. I was able to import a protonvpn wg config from a file very easily.

however during the setup it would only take the Default password when I set the admin password. It would not take any other strings. telling me that the password had to have 5 letters and 2 numbers. which it did.

any idea what’s going on?

Not 100% sure what caused that - but I will check into that in case you’ve encountered a bug there! Very new software so may have a couple of quirks to iron out but will check into this

Glad to hear it was easy to get setup with Proton

I too ran into the password error. I used a 15 character password with both letters and numbers and got the error. Dropped it down to a 12 character password and it accepted it. Not saying that was the issue, but wanted to give you what did and didn’t work.

Same issue here on the Pi4 setup.
Tried a 9 character long password with upper and lower case as well as special characters and numbers - which should be well inside the 5+2 requirement as it is stated - but the system would not accept it.
Went to a password with 8 lower case characters and 4 numbers and it worked

Sounds like a potential bug in the app - will try and get a fix pushed for that (tends to take Apple/Google about 24 hours to approve in app store) - will post here when I’ve figured it out / pushed fix.

Thanks for the reporting this, will get on it!

Did this ever get updated/fixed?

Update available for this now :grinning:

If haven’t already update via:

Hi. Sorry for the late response. Validated that my app was updated two days ago and that I can change the password something other than the default. However the version description (1.0.3) in the AppStore and the version displayed in my app (1.0.2) do not match. I suspect you just forgot to change it in the codebase. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
