You are absolutely right. It’s not stable release for rpi, it’s snapshot - a minefield for too curious openwrt newbie as me 
I’m currently waiting for delivery of openwrt compatible USB wifi7 module because those I have are unuseful Realtek, so I will spend this time prioritising disaster recovery topics.
