Hey there, had a good time setting up PiFi today. I was trying out the NAS, and I see the SMB share in Windows explorer, but it is asking for a username and password. I tried pifi and the password I used to set up with, but it isn’t getting accepted. The documentation didn’t say anything about credentials. Any thoughts?
Which version of Windows?
On Windows I go to File Explorer > Network > PiFi it works without prompting anything
Try entering no username/password if it allows?
If not, if you let me know which version of Windows I’ll see what more I can find out
I figured it out. I’m on Windows 11 Home. In Windows Features, I enabled the setting “SMB 1.0/CIFS File Sharing Support”, restarted, and it worked as you described.
