[Solved] Raspberry pi 5 - wifi error

Hello, I just found this amazing project, i decided to give it a try and installed it on a new microsd card i had.
I was able to follow the setup and it works. but the wifi keeps disconnecting after a few seconds.
It fails, then i need to manually reconnect on my phone, and then it fails again…

Raspberry PI 5 8gb mode

Using built-in wifi, i haven’t ordered the kit because im just trying it out before purchasing.

Managed to re-create on one of my Pi 5 - so something going on there. Will provide a fix today.

There’s a script that is designed only for PiFi Kit that’s causing some instability on the image from a few days ago - will push a new image today

In the meantime, you can actually have it work perfectly on your current image by entering
rm /etc/sysp/pifi_apstatus on your shell and then rebooting

Thanks for the heads up, this image hadn’t been rolled out via showing an in-app update yet so great to catch this issue early!
